Creed - Ch. 5 - Down the Rabbit Hole
Over the course of the next few days, Jay stayed in his room almost all the time. He only came out of his room to eat or use the bathroom – and once a night, he would come out because they would watch a movie. The first night, the same day Adam was enlightened, they watched a Kung Fu movie about parallel universes with Ty and Ivor. Ivor fell asleep halfway through, though none of them could really tell because of his ever-present sunglasses which completely concealed his eyes. Ty would laugh at bits in the film and look at Ivor to see his expression, only for it to be completely deadpanned without fail. He didn’t realize that Ivor

Jay jumped as he heard the sudden knock on his door. He looked up, and had to think for a moment and remember where he was, which often happened when he spent too much time on his work without a break. Slowly, he remembered he was in Adam’s house, in the guest room, and it was… He checked his watch. 12:33. Judging by the sunlight leaking through the closed blinds and drawn curtains, it must have been just past noon; Jay had started working around eight the night before.
He heard another knock, and he was reminded of what brought him out of his trance. “Jay, I brought you some food.”

Husky smiled as the big stone wall came into view. He couldn't help but feel nostalgic and happy about seeing the place, even in its rundown state. The walls, although crumbling slightly, were still standing, surrounding the camp they had made. A few of the buildings he could see over the walls, but most were too short.
Jerome whistled as he stared at it. "Damn, this place really took a beating..."
Husky nodded distantly. They were quiet a few moments as they both just stared at the once mighty but now abandoned fortress, before Husky finally took a deep breath. "Alright, let's go."
With that, he shifted his pack higher onto hi

Lucifer's Academy of the Damned - Prologue
The headmistress of Lucifer's Academy of the Damned was an old woman. Her eyes shone bright blue, so bright many mistook her for blind. Her hair was strawberry-blonde, flecked with streaks of grey, put up in a tight bun. Her room was very well organized. Her books were neatly in alphabetical order on her shelf. Some of the titles included, "Theodore Azrea's Guide to the Undead", and "The ABCs of Hell". Atop her bookshelf was a little red globe, seeming to spin itself.
She sat at her desk, looking through papers of student files. With September fast approaching, school would be starting very soon. And with that, she had to look for Freshman

It was past three in the morning when Sky got the phone call.
Sky shrugged, showing he didn't know. "Yes, may I ask who this is?" He asked.
"I work at Stillwater Hospice, I'm calling on behalf of Lawrence Void."
Sky felt his heart skip a beat. "...Wh... What about him...?"
"He's had a heart attack, sir. He may only have hours left, and you're his primary contact. I'm sorry."
Sky froze as Alesa looked at him worriedly. No... No, this couldn't be happening, right? "Sky?" Alesa whispered worriedly.
"If you want to say goodbye, you should come right away. Thank you sir."
The nurse hung up.

Sunlight streamed through the open window, illuminating a rectangular pattern of gold on the wooden floorboards. A soft breeze blew through the trees outside cooling the warm standing air. Birds flew overhead, chirping cheerfully as they returned home from the south. Spring had officially sprung.
Sky sat on the edge of his bed. His back was hunched slightly, his hands folded on knees as he looked down. His eyes were closed. He found himself doing this often lately. Seto said he was meditating. Whether he was or he wasn't, Sky frankly didn't give a damn, but it was comfortable and allowed him to think. But today, today he didn't want to th
